On 9th December 1997, group of enthusiastic and patriotic entrepreneurs started a company named Golden Vacation Sdn. Bhd. (reg. no. 454917W) (KKKP 3426). At the same time, the company was also awarded the TDC license thus giving it the status of a travel agency.

Golden Vacation is established with the vision to design affordable holidays for Malaysians through “Vacation Club” memberships. The cardholders get to enjoy special discounts and privileges when staying in selected local hotels and resorts plus other related benefits. Over the years, the numbers are still increasing day by day largely due to the special privileges and attractive benefits that are exclusive to the VIP members. Golden Vacation has a data base of well over 60,000 members.

The mission of Golden Vacation is to provide the very best of Malaysian hospitality and service at the lowest possible prices. The value exceeds even more than it’s worth when Internet web sites and educational packages are included.

The Minister of Culture, Art and Tourism, Dato’ Seri Sabaruddin Chik graced the official opening of the main office on 16th October 1998, showing full support from the Ministry and the government. Until today, every month Golden Vacation receives 400 to 500 members bookings and substantial payments are issued to the participating hotels. In times of financial difficulty, considerable business has been generated for the hotel involved.

Apart from members, Golden Vacation is also promoting its tour packages to the public as well as the corporate bodies. The company also collaborating with other established tour companies by promoting their outbound packages to our interested clients.
